A delegation from the Jemgbagh PDP Caucus, led by Dr. Laha Dzever who is also the leader of PDP G14, today paid a condolence visit to the immediate past Governor of Benue State and leader of the party in the state, Chief Samuel Ioraernyi Ortom .

In a condolence message on behalf of the group, Dr. Laha Dzever urged the former Governor to take solace in the fact that God gives and takes at His own discretion. He stated that they were comforted by the knowledge that Chief Ortom is a man who believes deeply in the word of God.

Other groups, including the Forum of 2020-2022 Elected Local Government Chairmen, led by Hon. Caleb Abah, and the Gboko Road Youths, under the chairmanship of Zaki Akutse, were also represented by Elder Peter Igba to condole the former Governor.

Additionally, the Pentecostal Fellowship, represented by pastors under the leadership of Bishop Kurudu, and the Forum of 2022 Supervisory Councillors, led by Hon.Donald Adamu , extended their condolences as well.

In response, Chief Ortom expressed his gratitude to all the groups for their solidarity. He stated that he and the entire Ortom Adorogo family were comforted by their words and would not take their visit for granted.

Meanwhile, Chief Ortom will take a break from receiving condolence visits and will resume on Saturday, March 29, 2024.
