🗼Expired cooking gas cylinder are not safe to use, so please be careful.
🗼Each cylinder comes with 3 vertical stay plates (side stems) near its head. One of the side stem plates carries some alpha numeric code which is the expiry date of that particular gas cylinder
HOW TO DECODE THE EXPIRY DATE
The expiry date of the cooking gas cylinder is coded with alphabetical order, A B,C D, in quarters, which stands for months it will expire, while the numeric code stands for the year it will expire.
A. Letter A stands for January to March.
B. Letter B stands for April to June.
C. Letter C stands for July to September.
D. Letter D stands for October to December
For example, if the vertical stay plate carries the expiry date of B -9, it means that, the cooking gas cylinder will expire on June 2009, and if it is written C -16, it means that it will expire on September 2016.
So, be careful to avoid domestic accidents
