THE LANGUAGE IS A TESTAMENT OF THE IGBO OWNERSHIP OF BININ LAND AND YORUBA IS IGBOS LAST BORN .

The Bini language is a mixture of the Igbo and Yoruba language. There was nothing like "Binin people" before the invasion of the area by a Yoruba Prince called Oranmiyan in 12th century, who defeated the ile ibinu which were the aborigines of the area, his son Eweka later became the first Oba and that was how the Yoruba's began to rule the Binin until this day.

Yes! 45% of their traditional worship is borrowed from Yoruba but one of their major deity is called Ekenga, an Igbo deity now corrupted as Ekenga-gbo, it is also on record that until date the Bini markets was named after the four Igbo market days namely, EKE ORIE AFOR NKWOR. Do not also forget that we have numerous Igbo communities surrounding the present Yoruba invaders in Edo state, like the Igbanke's and Anioma people.

So you're not wrong if you say Binin's are Igbos whose original language was corrupted to half Igbo and half Yoruba.

This is why any Igbo man that's claiming Binin descendants are completely confused and ignorant of their existence because Binin is Igbo from history.

Have the forgotten that it was the Igbo that founded Ile Ife. The word Ile Ife has no root in Yoruba language. It means "to find out about something" in Igbo language.
2.. the leading markets in Lagos State were all built by the Igbos. So Igbo built the commercial potential of Lagos. Hence they built Lagos.
3.. Oduduwa was an Igbo last born prince. Oduduwa means ọdụdụ nwa (last born). He had amazing magical powers that earned him the loyalty of the Yorubas.
4.. Igbos named them "Yoruba" from the word "yọrịba" meaning "enjoy". You know they party a lot.
5.. Igbos thought Yorubas commerce and wealth creation according to Ooni of Ife.

With all these, you can see that the Igbos civilized the Yorubas!

I remain the Igbo man from Ikwerre who's on a mission to Unify IGBO NATION.
