Williams Troost-Ekong is out for the rest of the season. The Super Eagles Captain and 2023 AFCON MVP will undergo surgery in Finland on Tuesday to repair a ruptured biceps femoris in his right leg.

He suffered the hamstring injury in the 2023 AFCON group stage game against IvoryCoast, but played through the pain to help Nigeria get to the Final.😥❤️
