Former Real Madrid/Cameroon player Geremi files for divorce after learning he is not the biological father of her children
Geremi Njitap, who played for Real Madrid for three seasons between 1999 and 2002, has initiated divorce proceedings with his wife after learning through DNA tests that he is not the biological father of his wife, Laure's two children.
The real father of his wife's children is the ex-boyfriend with whom he had an affair. The Cameroonian, who has also played for clubs such as Chelsea and Newcastle, has been devastated to learn that the twins born in 2008, four years before they got married, and one of the reasons why they did it, are not the result of their relationship.
According to Cameroonian court documents, his wife is accused of "having destroyed the harmony in their marriage due to her abject behavior." It is further pointed out that her lies were constant over the years and that there were no children born from this union.
The document further added that the discovery that these twins were from her former partner destroyed the couple's harmony. His wife's lies caused an emotional shock to Geremi, the court concludes.
