Digital Twins for the Aviation industry What would we like and need to know more? What kind of information collected would turn into useful data? On my opinion, every airplane should have their own digital twin. I would like to know that everything in the plane is functioning properly as I set my foot in it. Now as it is possibly to do so - Why are we not doing it already? I feel there is so much untapped potential in this area - Not only for the safety but also for the product development leading to more accurate information about the current condition of the planes, better product development guided by real time data and ability to utilize the collected, processed and analyzed information from the whole fleet. These are just few thoughts. This does not even include yet data combined with different weather conditions, circumstances, usage knowledge that can rank the pilot and service made so - That we could see who are the ones being able to take best care of the products, assets and people when looking at the big picture.
