The Awo Idemmili police Station was today reopened after 5 years of banditry. The bubbling Imo State town which shares a boundary with Anambra was invaded a few years ago by a group of kidnappers masquerading as agitators. The villagers hailed them and baptised them "the good guys". A few months later, the town was deserted. According to a video by a youth president of the community, over 2 thousand people lost their lives within the period. A few days ago, human skeletons numbering about one thousand were discovered at the boundary between Awo(Imo State) and Isseke(Anambra State).
