• Chai😭😭😭 this what happened today!!
I went to a super store today to get something and the lady in charge introduced a custard-like pap to me and surprisingly it was made by Checkers Custard

I was at first skeptical about it but the lady assured me that I would love it.

I still insisted that how would I go for a dried pap when I can get the fresh one besides I don't take pap that much...if you see me buying it am getting it for children 🙄

She tried and finally gave me three satchets of the checker pap to try out 😋

Omo I was happy o 😂😂 but I didn't want to buy with my money 🙄

So here is my honest review
I didn't believe what I tasted, so yummy and affordable in that you don't need an extra money to buy milk and sugar 😋😋

Everything is loaded inside the pap ewooo🙆

See me on my way to go buy a carton of it now🚶
Please don't tell me to dash you one o
We're on Tinubu Regime go get your own for just 250 naira..😂

  • Atiku is saying again that he may step down. But we all know he is not sincere. Let Baba be plain in saying I will step down.

Now look at the nucleus of the merger talk. He suggests that all the other 4 former presidential candidates are going to conduct some kind of mini election among themselves and whoever emerged would become the flag bearer of the merger.

This is a big trap for Peter Obi. Trust Atiku in this kind of dirty politics. He would outsmart Peter. Obi is not really a politician. Mr. Peter Obi is just a good man who is not interested in fame or ambition but someone who is passionate to get poor masses out of suffering. So, let him not fall for this.

Baba Atiku should at this stage stand out as a father and sacrifice whatever ambitions he nurses. If they fail again, Tinubu would succeed again.

Atiku, a time has come in your life when you should be proud to say that PETER OBI is your son and you are supporting him 💯. Your name would be written in gold as the father of modern Nigeria.

Meet Ibok-Ete Ibas, Rivers State’s New Military Administrator
Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, a retired Nigerian naval officer, has been appointed as the administrator of Rivers State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

    Admiral Ibok Ete Ibas
    Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas
This decision follows his years of service in the military and diplomatic roles.

Born on September 27, 1960, in Nko, Cross River State, Ibas had a long career in the Nigerian Navy.

He served as the 22nd Chief of Naval Staff from July 2015 until his retirement in January 2021.

His leadership in the Navy earned him recognition, and in 2021, he was appointed as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana.

Ibas started his education at Nko Primary School before completing it at Big Qua Primary School, Calabar, in 1971.

He attended Hope Waddell Training Institute and later the School of Basic Studies, Ogoja.

His military training began at the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1979 as part of the 26th Regular Course.

He was commissioned as a sub-lieutenant in 1983 and later took on various leadership roles in the Navy.

During his service, Ibas worked on multiple naval ships, including NNS Ruwan Yaro, NNS Obuma, and NNS Aradu.

He later commanded key naval institutions, such as the Nigerian Navy Underwater Warfare School and Forward Operating Base Ibaka.

His career included positions in maritime operations, administration, and training, where he played a role in shaping Nigeria’s naval strategy.

Before becoming Chief of Naval Staff, Ibas held leadership positions, including Navy Secretary and Chief of Logistics. After retiring from the Navy, his expertise in security and diplomacy led to his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ghana, where he represented the country in strategic relations.

Ibas is married to Barrister Theresa Ibas, and they have children. Outside his professional life, he enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and playing golf.

His new role as the administrator of Rivers State places him in charge of overseeing governance and stability in the state.

  • The former presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has commented on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's decision to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State and suspend Governor Fubara.

    Mr OBI wrote:

The unilateral decision of President Bola Tinubu to remove Governor Similaya Fubara of Rivers State from office is not only unconstitutional but also reckless.

It has plunged us back into a state of lawlessness, hugely undoing the progress we have made in these 26 years of democratic journey.

By disregarding the rule of law, the President has shown a dangerous willingness to trample on democracy.

The declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State is not just reckless—it is a clear attempt to return us to a state of nature and tighten its grip on power at all costs.

It is a degrading back door imposition of martial rule on a strategic part of the federation with all the implied negatives .

The political situation on the ground in Rivers does not justify such an extreme measure, and it is also a biased interpretation of section 305(1) of the 1999 constitution.

A state of emergency does not mean an elected Governor can be removed unilaterally. This decision does not align with democratic norms or good governance. Instead, it appears to be a predetermined action serving specific interests rather than the collective good of the people of Rivers State and Nigeria.

This action constitutes an unconstitutional overreach, setting a dangerous precedent that threatens democracy, the rule of law, and the separation of powers. If left unchecked, it could foster a culture of impunity.

Having already been grappling with non-adherence to electoral qualifications, rules, and massive rigging, adding arbitrary removal of elected officials will push us to a state of nature and anarchy.

I appeal to the National Assembly and all stakeholders not to allow this to stand, as it only deepens the culture of impunity and brigand already threatening our democracy.

    A new Nigeria is POssible!
